Ed Baugh
As we travel through life, we are given a variety of opportunities to not only enrich ourselves
I was born in Spokane WA but grow up in East Wenatchee. I have an older brother (now living in Cave Creek, AZ) and a younger sister (now living in Issaquah, WA). All three of us attended Eastern Washington College and became teachers.
My father was the first High School Principal of Eastmont High School and my mother worked hard at home. During my 7th and 8th grade years we moved to Peshastin and then moved to
Omak for my high school years. During the summer I worked bucking bales of hay and fought fires for the Department of Natural Resources and built trails for National Forest Serves.
After graduating from Eastern my wife and I moved our daughter and son to East Wenatchee where I accepted a teaching job in the Eastmont School District at Eastmont Jr. High. After teaching for 35 years I retired but kept coaching track and field for a total of 47 years.
Currently, I spend my time with my wife relaxing, working a small hay field, enjoying the outdoors, canoeing, riding horses and enjoying granddaughters and now great grandchildren.
Life is good!
