Randy Lewis

It’s our humanity that brings us together.

“Coville Tribal Member Randy Lewis (kay’axen), is a descendant of the Wenatchi/P’squosa, Methow and Okanogan bands. Teacher, civil rights organizer, historian and storyteller, Randy has been in the forefront of the Pacific Northwest’s political and cultural life since the late 1960s.  As a child he lived at the village near the famed Cellilo Falls, and grew up listening to Elders recount old stories of the river.” William D. Layman from the books Sunset and Moonrise of the Great Chief and Rock Island of the Columbia River.
